What to document first

Before you value it, identify the exact package.

“Sealed” is a condition and packaging state, not an identity. Price evidence only becomes useful when the item, edition, region, package format and seal type are genuinely comparable.

  1. Match the exact product format before using comps.
  2. Look for manufacturer-specific wrap, printing and case configuration.
  3. Loose packs may carry different search/reseal risks than intact boxes.
  4. Document weight only if historically relevant; weight does not authenticate a pack.
NeverOpened tools can organize observations. They do not authenticate an item. For valuable or disputed material, use a qualified category specialist or relevant authentication service.
