Record the exact product name, edition, region, language, printing, package format and visible codes. Small packaging changes can identify a different release or a later reissue.
Seal and package checks
- Preserve outer mailers and paperwork.
- Identify sponsor, campaign, date and distribution method.
- Original bags and inserts may carry much of the value.
Condition questions
Inspect corners, edges, seams, windows, labels, fading, moisture, odors, punctures, crushing and storage pressure. A genuine seal can still surround a low-grade package.

Pause when the product is frequently counterfeited, the seal style is unfamiliar, the premium is large, the item lacks provenance or the packaging differs from documented originals.
