Before you value it, identify the exact package.
“Sealed” is a condition and packaging state, not an identity. Price evidence only becomes useful when the item, edition, region, package format and seal type are genuinely comparable.
- Some eras used tape rather than shrink.
- Weight can suggest missing contents but does not prove completeness.
- Box compression and moisture can damage contents while seals survive.
- Edition and component changes matter for comps.
